IKEA Store
  1. How can I get large items home?
    Most IKEA products are flat-packed, making them easy to transport. The IKEA store offers (or will refer you to) a home delivery service if you prefer. Home delivery is not included in the product price.
  2. Why are items sometimes out of stock?
    Every effort is made to maintain the availability of items shown in the catalogue, but due to popularity and supply issues, some products may not always be available. Generally, IKEA can estimate when a product should be back in stock. Because IKEA products are manufactured throughout the world, there are sometimes circumstances which can cause delivery delays.
  3. What if I want to have the products assembled?
    Most IKEA products are generally easy to assemble and require no special tools. However, if you prefer, you can leave the assembly of your purchase to our professional, independent partners in your area that can come to your home and assemble and install our products. See our Assembly page for details.
  4. Can I return items?
    We offer a generous 90 day no-nonsense Return policy. Ask for assistance at your store or look in your catalogue for details. Please do not forget the receipt and the original packaging.
  5. Complaints?
    If you have any complaints about our products or services please contact your store and we will be happy to solve the problem.
  6. How many products are in the IKEA product range?
    There are about 12,000 products in the total IKEA product range. Each store carries a selection of these 12,000 products depending on store size. The core range is the same worldwide.
  7. Where are IKEA products purchased?
    More than 2,000 suppliers in over 50 countries manufacture our products. The profile of our well-designed and high quality range is distinctively Swedish. The low price is literally built into the production and the flat packs facilitate a rational distribution, self-service and immediate take-away. All of our products are labelled "Design and Quality, IKEA of Sweden."

  1. What is the IKEA catalogue?
    This year's IKEA catalogue is produced in 69 editions, in 33 languages for 47 countries. The catalogue offers more than just a glimpse at the diverse IKEA product range. You'll discover new affordable solutions and creative approaches to help inspire home furnishing ideas for better living.
  2. How can I get a copy of the IKEA catalogue?
    The IKEA catalogue is mass-distributed annually in the area around each IKEA store. If you did not receive this year's catalogue, stop by the IKEA store near you for a free copy.
  3. When does the new catalogue come out?
    The annual catalogue is distributed in August/September of each year and is valid for a full year. Prices are guaranteed not to increase while the catalogue is valid.
    In it, you'll discover our furnishings, accessories and room settings along with detailed information on materials, colours, sizes, product care and prices. That way you can plan your next visit to IKEA all from the comfort of your own home!
  4. How environmentally friendly is the IKEA catalogue?
    Our catalogues are printed on totally chlorine-free paper and contain at least 10-15% post-consumer waste. No rainforest or old-growth fibres are used. The pre-press process is 100% digital,which means no film is used and none of the associated chemicals. No optical brighteners are used on the paper.

    IKEA retailing, with its Swedish roots, is based on a franchise system. Inter IKEA Systems B.V., located in Delft, The Netherlands, is the owner and franchisor of the IKEA Concept. IKEA stores are operated by a number of different franchisees in 29 countries.
  2. Can I distribute IKEA products?
    The IKEA experience is more than just products, it is a retail concept. For the concept to work, it is necessary to have all aspects in place. Therefore, IKEA products are sold only in IKEA stores franchised by Inter IKEA Systems B.V.
  3. How can I become a franchisee?
    IKEA products are sold solely in stores operating the IKEA Retail System--franchised by Inter IKEA Systems B.V. of The Netherlands.Franchises are granted by Inter IKEA Systems B.V. as part of a detailed expansion plan. Serious applicants are carefully researched and evaluated and franchises are granted only to companies and/or individuals with strong financial backing and a proven record in retail.

  4. What is the IKEA Group?
    The IKEA Group is a private group of companies owned by a charitable foundation in The Netherlands. The IKEA Group is active in developing, purchasing, distributing and selling IKEA products. The IKEA group is the biggest group of franchisees operating over 100 IKEA stores. The Management Services to the IKEA Group are provided by IKEA International A/S in Humlebaek, Denmark.

  1. What settings or software do I need on my computer to view the IKEA site?
    IKEA.co.id is optimised for the most used versions of Internet Explorer and Firefox on Windows, Firefox and Safari on Mac OS X. The site is created for a screen resolution of 1024x768 or higher.
  2. Can I purchase IKEA products on the web?
    Only a very few countries currently sell products online. In the future, the ambition is to roll out this e-commerce platform to additional countries.
  3. What information is collected about me when I visit the site?
    We do not require any information to obtain access to any part of our site, unless specifically stated. We may ask for specific information in order to provide a service to you, such as sending you a catalogue. Information requested may include name, title, company, address, e-mail address, and phone number.

    We do anonymously track traffic patterns using cookies, in order to measure site performance and make improvements. Cookies are small pieces of information stored on your computer that are read by the browser. These cookies will be automatically deleted after you leave the site.
  4. Can I find all IKEA products on this site?
    This site features hundreds of IKEA products as a way of demonstrating the breadth and depth of our product range; however, this is only a small portion of IKEA’s complete product range. Each store carries a much larger selection. Be sure to visit your local IKEA store for a look at our full selection.

  2. Why are there products on the website that I cannot buy online?
    The majority of our IKEA product range is available at our online shop. However, only products with available stock will appear with the "Buy Online" button.
  3. Are your prices online the same as in store?
    The price of our products on line will normally be the same as in store prices. However, occasionally, some price differences might occur in the event of in store only or online only promotion.

  3. When will I receive my order?
    Delivery will take place within 3 to 10 working days from the date of order. The delivery time may vary according to your destination. During peak season, we seek your kind understanding as delivery lead time may be longer due to surge in order volume
  4. Where does IKEA deliver to?

  5. How do I tell you about delivery restrictions?

  6. Can I order online and pick up from a store?
    This option is currently not available.
  7. What happens if I am not home to receive my order?
    If you are unable to receive your delivery, please call us at 021-29853900 or whatsapp at +62811-1300-2242 or email to cs@ikea.co.id to reschedule a new delivery date. A Re-Attendance fee shall apply for the next delivery attempt
  8. Will I be notified prior to delivery?
    You will receive a SMS notification or call prior to your scheduled appointment on the day of delivery.

  1. How do I cancel my order?
    Please call us at 021-29853900 or whatsapp at +62811-1300-2242 to cancel your order. Cancellation* is allowed within 24 hours only prior to the scheduled delivery and/or call out appointment. No cancellation can be done once the order is paid and confirmed.

    • What is IKEA Family and what benefits will I receive?
      IKEA Family is the IKEA loyalty club that is open to everyone, and it’s free to join with no membership fees.

      As an IKEA Family member, you can enjoy offers on selected home furnishing products, food and services, not to mention free coffee everytime you visit our store. We also host regular member-only events in store such as free home furnishing workshops and previews of new ranges. You will also receive regular inspirational newsletters so we can keep you up to date with news and changes.
    • Can I use my IKEA Family membership in other countries?
      Unfortunately, IKEA Family can only be used in the country where the membership was created. IKEA Family Indonesia can only be used in Indonesia.

    • How do I sign up for an event in store such as a workshop?
      We have different events running throughout the year in all of our stores, from home furnishing seminars and design workshops to exclusive preview events.

    • How do I find my membership ID?
      You can access your QR code at User tab in IKEA Indonesia app.
    • How to register with my phone number?
      Please enter an active Indonesian phone number.
    • I don't receive OTP.
      Make sure you use an active Indonesian phone number and has not been registered as IKEA Family Indonesia member. Please enter the phone number without "0".
    • I don't receive a verification email after registering.
      We sent verification email to your registered email. Kindly check your inbox /spam. If you don't receive our verification email, please contact us at 021-29853900, whatsapp +62811-1300-2242 or send an email to cs@ikea.co.id.
    • My number is already registered.
      If the phone number is already registered, please login with that number. If you have never registered, please contact us at 021-29853900, whatsapp +62811-1300-2242 or send an email to cs@ikea.co.id.
    • Can I register 1 phone number for 2 accounts?
      Customers can only register 1 phone number for 1 account.
    • I can't log in to my account, either by phone number or email.
      Make sure you log in with a verified phone number/email. If you log in with your phone number, please enter the number without "0". If you log in with an email, please use the registered and verified email.
    • I can't reset my password the login page.
      You can reset the password via IKEA Indonesia app & www.ikea.co.id. If you are unable to reset your password, please contact us at 021-29853900, whatsapp +62811- 1300-2242 or send an email to cs@ikea.co.id.
    • I’ve forgotten my email or password, what should I do?
      You can request a new password by selecting “Forgot your password” on the login page. If your email address is registered, we will send you an email with a link to create a new password.

    • How do I make changes to my IKEA Family details?
      You can update any of your details such as name, address and contact details online via your IKEA Family profile. Or, you can contact us at 021-29853900, whatsapp +62811-1300-2242 or send an email to cs@ikea.co.id.
    • I can't change my phone number on My profile page
      Please enter an active registered phone number. Enter your phone number without "0".
    • I can't change my email at My profile page
      Make sure the email you entered has not been registered as an IKEA Family Indonesia member.
    • I can't change my birthday detail at My profile page
      Birthday detail can only be entered once on the profile. To change data, please contact us at 021-29853900, whatsapp +62811-1300-2242 or send an email to cs@ikea.co.id.
    • After deleting my account, can I create a new account with the same data?
      If you create a new account with the same data, the entire transaction history and reward points on the deleted account cannot be moved and the new account will be empty with new transaction data.
    • How to delete my account?
      To delete your account, please go to My profile and select the "Permanently delete your account" option. Please be informed that you can't recover the account after the delete process.
  4. Benefit
    • How to use my reward?
      You can access the reward in IKEA Indonesia App. Go to User page - click My rewards to access your rewards.
    • How can I get my free coffee?
      You can claim your free coffee by showing your coupon on the My Rewards page in the IKEA Indonesia app and your shopping receipt. Members are limited to redeeming the coupon once daily. See the full terms and conditions here
    • How can I get my free "Live at Home" book?
      You can come to our Customer Service area in the store to get our Live at Home book by showing your reward code. The book is available while stock lasts.
    • My reward is expired
      The expired reward is not able to be extended.
    • I already have an account but I cannot find my reward.
      You can find your active & inactive reward in your account - My reward section. For any reward issue, please contact us at 021-29853900, whatsapp +62811-1300-2242 or send an email to cs@ikea.co.id.
    • Someone use my reward, help!
      Please be informed that to be able to use the reward coupon, customer need to show their IKEA Family QR code. We suggest to change your password regularly or reset the password for your account security.
    • Can my reward be exchanged for cash or combined to other IKEA Family account?
      Unfortunately, the reward can not be exchanged for cash or combined.
    • I used the voucher but returned the order, can IKEA issue another voucher for me?
      The voucher that has been used is not able to be reactivated/re-issue.
  5. Transaction
    Can I add my old purchases to my IKEA Family reward points?
    To get reward points, you need to show your QR code or mention your phone number at the time you purchase. For online transaction, please login to your IKEA Family account. Unfortunately, we can't add your old purchases that were made before you joined the IKEA Family.
