Wet marks should always be dried off as soon as possible to stop moisture penetration.Remove dust with a lint remover.
Light stains can be removed with a sponge damped in water or a mild soapy solution.

Small fibres may appear on velvet. It happens naturally and they disappear over time and can also be removed with a garment roll.
